Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice Ingredients

- Shallot
- Bag of Cauliflower Rice
- Chicken Bone Broth
- Habanero or Jalapeno Salt
- Cilantro
- Lime
- Course Black Pepper to Taste
Preparing the Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice
- First, if using frozen cauliflower rice, warm it in the microwave for 3 minutes, or until almost thawed.
- Note: You can skip this step if you prepare your cauliflower rice by pulsing cauliflower florets.
- Next, place a tablespoon of unsalted butter into a nonstick skillet, and melt over medium heat.
- Then, add the thawed or freshly pulsed cauliflower rice and stir to combine.
- Next, add the shallots, habanero salt, chicken bone broth, lime zest, half of the cilantro, and coarse black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Then, turn the heat to medium-high.
- Note: The higher heat helps extract the moisture from the cauliflower rice, so it’s not mushy.
- Next, cook the rice for about 5 minutes.
- Then, turn the heat off and add in the lime juice.
- Finally, add the remaining cilantro, stir to combine, and serve immediately!
