Roasted Peaches are a delightful treat combining the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with a rich, caramelized flavor. Furthermore, when roasted, the peaches soften and their natural sugars intensify, creating a tender, juicy interior with a slightly crispy, golden-brown exterior.

In addition, the fruit’s flesh becomes silky and succulent, while the skin, if left on, may develop a subtle chewiness that adds texture. The roasting process often brings out warm, toasty notes, and with the seasoning of warm spices, the flavors meld beautifully, enhancing the overall experience. Finally, the aroma of roasted peaches is warm and inviting, and it is reminiscent of summer and comfort.

Roasted Peaches Ingredients

Preparing the Peaches
- First, in a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, bourbon, and ground cinnamon. Mix to combine.
- Next, pour the flavored butter into the bottom of an oven-safe casserole dish.
- Then, place the halved peaches, skin down, into the casserole dish.
- Next, using a pastry brush, brush the peaches with the flavored butter (from the bottom of the dish).
- Then, drizzle the peaches with maple syrup and a pinch of salt.
- Finally, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Roasting the Peaches
- Place the casserole dish into the preheated oven.
- Next, roast the peaches for at least 30 minutes or until the flesh is fork-tender.
- Finally, once the peaches are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Serving and Storing the Roasted Peaches
To serve the Roasted Peaches, place one to two peaches on a serving plate. Spoon Coconut Cool Whip, Whipped Cream, or Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream over the top (or side) and enjoy!

Roasted Peaches are best enjoyed the day they are roasted. If you have leftovers, I’d recommend storing them in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, for one day.
