Creating the Apple Spice Cake Batter

  1. First, in a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
  2. Next, using a Dough Whisk, mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  3. Then, add the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Finally, the Apple Spice Cake batter is ready!

First, in a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

Next, using a Dough or Dutch Whisk, combine all of the dry ingredients until well combined.

Add in the Wet Ingredients; Stir to Combine

Then, combine the wet ingredients, or the Sourdough Discard and the Avocado Oil.

Next, add the Unsweetened Applesuace. Stir to combine.

Finally, the Apple Spice Cake batter is ready!

Baking and Cooling the Apple Spice Cake

  1. First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Next, spray a Bundt or Bundt Quartet Pan with Avocado Oil.
  3. Then, evenly distribute the batter into each of the Bundt Quartet Pans.
  4. Once the batter fills the pans, tap the pan on the counter to reduce or eliminate any air bubbles.
  5. Then, bake the cakes for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Next, gently remove the cakes from the Bundt Quartet Pans by flipping the pan onto a wire cooling rack.
    • Note: I used this article to help me when I was first learning how to remove Bundt cakes from Bundt pans.
  7. Finally, let the cakes cool to room temperature prior to icing them with the Mascarpone Cinnamon Glaze.

Evenly Distribute Batter Into the Bundt Cake Pans

Gently Remove the Baked Cakes from the Bundt Pan(s)

Next, the baked cakes are ready to be removed from the Bundt Quartet Pan.

Then, set the wire cooling rack, gently, on top of the cakes.

Next, flip the pan over the wire rack, and gently tap the top of the pan to release the cakes.

Finally, let the cakes cool to room temperature prior to icing them.

  1. Once the cakes are fully cooled, drizzle the Mascarpone Cinnamon Glaze over the top of each cake (or one whole cake if you use a large Bundt pan).
  2. Next, serve the cakes on a platter or wooden board of your choice.
  3. Finally, enjoy and devour!

  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Pink Salt
