Sorrel Glazed Salmon is a delicious and healthy meal that comes together in under 30 minutes. Sorrel Jam is used to glaze fresh Salmon filets to create a tart and sweet flavor combination. Finally, this meal can be served with a side of grains and fresh vegetables to make it a well-rounded dish.

Preparing the Salmon

  1. First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Next, remove the Salmon filet(s) from the packaging and set it on a cutting board.
  3. Then, dry the filets using a paper towel.
  4. Next, season the filets with salt and pepper.
  5. Then, using a pastry brush, brush the Sorrel Jam over the top of the Salmon filets.
  6. Finally, place the glazed Salmon on top of a sheet of parchment paper and on a baking sheet.

Baking the Sorrel Glazed Salmon

  1. First, once the oven is preheated, place the baking sheet into the oven.
  2. Next, bake the filet(s) for approximately 18-20 minutes.
  3. Then, remove the baked Salmon from the oven.
  4. Finally, brush any remaining Sorrel Jam over the top of the baked Salmon prior to serving.

  1. First, place the cooked grain of your choice, such as rice, on the plate.
  2. Next, carefully place a filet of Salmon onto the rice or grain.
  3. Then, spoon the sauteed vegetables on the side of the plate.
  4. Finally, enjoy!

Notes

This meal is best if eaten the day of. I would not, personally, recommend saving salmon for leftovers and reheating.
