Mascarpone Cinnamon Glaze

Mascarpone Cinnamon Glaze is woodsy, sweet, and tangy! In addition, this glaze is perfect over Sourdough Chocolate Chip Scones, tightened up and piped as icing on top of Vegan cupcakes, or drizzled over Sourdough Pumpkin Bundt Cake. Finally, the Mascarpone rounds out the sweetness and gives the glaze a savory and tangy taste. Enjoy!

Creating the Glaze

  1. First, in a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, combine the Mascarpone Cheese and powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  2. Next, add the cinnamon and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  3. Then, add the Oat Milk until you achieve the desired consistency.
    • Note: If you need the Mascarpone Cinnamon Glaze to be thicker, add more powdered sugar; if you need it to be thinner, add more milk.
    • Note: For Bundt Cakes/scones, you want the glaze to be thick enough to stay on the scone and easily spread, but thinner than cake frosting.
    • Note: For cakes/cupcakes, you want the glaze to be thick enough to pipe almost like frosting.
  4. Finally, once the desired consistency is achieved, turn the stand mixer off and glaze, ice, or frost the baked good. Enjoy!
