Blueberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars Ingredients
- King Arthur’s Organic, All-Purpose Flour
- Sprouted Rolled Oats
- Coconut Sugar
- Pink Salt
- Baking Powder
- Sourdough Discard
- Cold Water
- Unsweetened Applesauce
- Mexican Vanilla
- Unsalted Butter
- Homemade Blueberry Filling

Preparing the Baking Pan
- First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Next, prepare a 9 X 13-inch baking dish by spraying it with baking spray.
- Then, line it with an oversized piece of parchment paper (this will help lift the bars out after baking).
- Finally, set the baking pan aside.

Crafting the Oatmeal Crumble Bars

- First, in a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the butter.
- Next, using a fork or Sourdough Whisk, stir to combine.
- Then, grate the butter into the flour mixture.
- Finally, using your hands, combine the grated butter with the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbles.
- Note: If the mixture is too dry, add a tbsp of cold water.

- First, press 1/2 of the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Next, spoon the Homemade Blueberry Filling over the mixture and spread evenly.
- Finally, sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the blueberry layer.

Baking the Blueberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars
- First, place the Blueberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars into the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Next, place the pan on top of a wire, cooling rack.
- Then, allow the bars to cool for 10-15 minutes prior to cutting.
- Finally, remove the bars by lifting the parchment paper out of the pan, slice it into even squares, and then serve.
