Turkey Lettuce Wraps Ingredients
- Bibb or Butter Lettuce
- Ground Turkey
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Garlic Powder or Garlic Cloves
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Ground Ginger
- Shiitake Mushrooms
- Green Onions
- Green Cabbage
- Coconut Aminos

Creating the Turkey Filling
- First, in a nonstick pan, add the oil, ground turkey, and seasonings.
- Next, cook the turkey until partially cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Then, add cabbage, mushrooms, and seasonings. Season with salt and pepper; stir to combine.
- Next, cook the vegetables and turkey until fully cooked through and the vegetables are softened; about another 8-10 minutes.
- Then, add the coconut aminos. Stir to combine.
- Finally, turn the heat off and remove the filling to cool to room temperature.






Assembling the Turkey Lettuce Wraps
- First, once the mixture has cooled to room temperature, remove the lettuce from the refrigerator.
- Next, gently pull apart the lettuce and place it on a plate or serving platter.
- Then, fill each lettuce “cup” with 1/4 – 1/2 cup of turkey and vegetable filling. Repeat until all of the lettuce wraps are filled.
- Finally, sprinkle each filled lettuce cup with freshly sliced green onions. Enjoy!
