Pork Carnitas Ingredients
- Pork Butt
- Organic Orange Juice
- Beef or Chicken Bone Broth
- Packet Siete Carnitas Seasoning
- Avocados
- Cilantro
- Shredded Lettuce
- Lime
- Everde Fxking Hot Sauce

Pressure Cooking the Pork Carnitas
- First, pour the liquid into the pot of an Instant Pot pressure cooker.
- Next, add the pork butt.
- Then, pour the packet of Siete’s Carnitas seasoning over the pork butt.
- Next, place the lid on top of the pot and seal it.
- Then, turn the Instant Pot to the pressure cook setting for 60 minutes, and click start.
- Finally, when the timer goes off, let the Instant Pot naturally release.

Shredding the Instant Pot Pork Carnitas
- Once the Instant Pot naturally releases, carefully remove the pork butt.
- Note: The pressure cooking setting may cause the pork butt to be extremely tender and fall off the bone. If this happens, you can skil the shredding of the meat step.
- Next, place the pork butt onto a cutting board and shred the meat using two forks or meat shredders.
- Finally, place the shredded carnitas back into the liquid and stir to combine the meat and the cooking liquid.

Serving the Instant Pot Pork Carnitas
- Once the pork carnitas have had a chance to soak in the cooking liquid, pull out 1/4 c. of shredded meat and place it onto a warmed tortilla or on top of a bed of greens.
- Next, slice avocados and top the carnitas.
- Then, add lettuce, cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and your favorite hot sauce such as Fxking Hot Sauce.
- Finally, enjoy the Instant Pot Pork Carnitas!
