Preparing the Sweet Potatoes in the Air Fryer

  1. First, wash and scrub the exterior of the sweet potatoes.
  2. Next, pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Then, using a fork, poke holes all over the sweet potatoes.
  4. Next, place the potatoes in the Air Fryer.
  5. Then, air fry the potatoes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-45 minutes, or until soft.
    • Note: Alternatively, if you do not have an Air Fryer, you can roast them in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 60-70 minutes, or until soft.
  6. Finally, set the sweet potatoes aside to cool.

Preparing the Taco-Seasoned Venison

  1. First, preheat a Cast Iron or Nonstick Pan. Add 1 tsp. of Avocado Oil.
  2. Next, add the ground Venison and break it into pieces to begin browning it.
  3. Then, add the packet of Siete Taco Seasoning.
  4. Finally, continue to cook the Venison until it has browned and/or cooked through.

Add the Ground Venison and Brown

Dump the entire packet of seasoning onto the ground Venison.

Cook the Venison Until Cooked Through (5-8 Minutes)

Finally, continue to cook the Venison until it has browned and/or cooked through.

Stuffing and Serving the Venison Taco Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

  1. First, take one cooked sweet potato and split it down the middle (using a knife), to open it.
  2. Next, fill the potato with 1/4 cup of taco-seasoned Venison.
  3. Then, add your favorite toppings to the Venison-filled sweet potato. Next, repeat steps 1-3 until all sweet potatoes have been filled.
  4. Finally, serve immediately and enjoy.

Storing the Leftovers

This recipe is delicious the day of or the next day. However, if you plan to keep the leftovers, I’d recommend waiting to add the taco toppings until you’ve reheated the sweet potato(es) and Venison. Furthermore, store these ingredients in an airtight container, and the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • 1-2 tbsp. Siete Salsa (Sugar-Free)
  • 2 Avocados, Sliced or 1-2 tbsp. Guacamole
