Venison Sausage Hash Ingredients

Crafting the Venison Sausage Hash

  1. First, heat a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet or an All-Clad Nonstick skillet to medium heat.
    • Note: I had to switch mid-way through my cooking from a Cast Iron to a nonstick pan because I needed a bigger pan.
  2. Next, add the Avocado oil.
  3. Then, add the onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until the onions are translucent.
  4. Next, add the diced bell peppers. Stir and cook for 3 minutes or until just softened.
  5. Then, add the diced potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the potatoes into an even layer and then cook for 5-8 minutes. Stir the potatoes after 5-8 minutes, push down into the even layer, and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes.
  6. Next, add the sliced Venison sausage. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Finally, the Venison Sausage Hash is ready!
