Habanero Peach Jam is sweet, spicy, and delicious! Furthermore, this jam is perfectly served on top of Sourdough Discard Drop Biscuits, served over the top of cream cheese, used as a marinade for chicken wings, or packaged up for a homemade, holiday treat!

Finally, for those of you who love the sweet and spicy combination, this Habanero Peach Jam recipe is for you!
Habanero Peach Jam Ingredients

Grilling the Habaneros (Optional)
- First, heat your outside grill to 375 degrees (trust me, you’ll want to do this outside).
- Next, spray the griddle on the grill with Avocado Oil, to prevent the peppers from sticking.
- Then, put gloves and silicone baking gloves on.
- Note: If you’ve never worked with Habanero Peppers, they are HOT! Wearing gloves is HIGHLY recommended. If you do not, you will want to excessively wash your hands and not touch sensitive parts for several hours.
- Next, place the peppers on the grill.
- Then, cook the peppers for 2 to 3 minutes per side, rotating once they char on each side.
- Finally, remove the peppers from the grill, and allow them to cool.
Crafting the Habanero Peach Jam
- First, once the peppers have cooled, remove the stems and roughly chop them.
- Note: If you are not a fan of super spicy, you can remove the seeds, but my family and friends do love the extra level of spice the seeds give.
- Next, peel and slice the peaches (if fresh). Add the peaches into a Dutch Oven, such as a Le Creuset Dutch Oven.
- Then, add the sugar.
- Next, add the lemon juice and then the Habanero peppers. Stir to combine.
- Next, turn the heat to medium-low, and bring the mixture to a slow boil. Stir occasionally to make sure nothing sticks to the pan.
- Then, keep it at a low boil and allow it to cook for about 20 minutes.
- Finally, once the mixture has cooked for 20 minutes, turn the heat off, and allow it to cool slightly.

Blending, Canning, and Storing the Habanero Peach Jam
- Once the jam mixture has cooled slightly, carefully pour it into a high-speed blender, such as a Ninja Blender.
- Next, blend it as smooth as you’d like.
- Note: In my family, we like a pretty smooth consistency.
- Note: If the mixture is too runny, simply pour it back into the Dutch Oven, bring it to a slow boil, and continue to cook it until the desired consistency is achieved.
- Then, once you’ve reached the desired consistency, carefully pour the jam into clean, Mason Jars.
- Finally, keep the jars in the refrigerator for up to a month or store them in the freezer for up to 6 months. Enjoy!
