Honey Tangerine Chicken Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs or Legs
- Avocado Oil
- Garlic
- Shallot
- Ginger
- Coconut Aminos
- Raw Honey
- Organic Tangerine Juice
- Salt and Pepper

Preparing the Marinade
- First, in a large Ziploc bag, place the chicken thighs or legs in.
- Note: Don’t have a large bag? No problem! Throw all of these ingredients into a bowl, instead.
- Next, in a mixing bowl, combine 1 tsp. of Avocado Oil and the rest of the ingredients. Whisk to combine.
- Then, pour the mixture into the Ziploc bag. Massage the mixture into the chicken.
- Next, place the bag with the marinade into a bowl.
- Note: This will prevent any potential spillage out of the bag.
- Finally, place the bowl into the refrigerator and marinate for at least 4-6 hours (overnight is better).



Cooking the Honey Tangerine Chicken
Baking in the Oven
- First, preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Next, remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and set on the counter.
- Then, remove the chicken and place it on a nonstick or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Next, place it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Then, flip the chicken (to crisp up the other side) and bake it for 20 more minutes.
- Finally, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.






Cooking in the Air Fryer
- First, remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and set on the counter.
- Next, remove the chicken and place it into an Air Fryer.
- Then, set the temperature on the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Next, close the Air Fryer tray(s) and cook for 12-15 minutes.
- Then, remove the chicken from the Air Fryer and place it onto a cutting board.
- Finally, let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Serving the Honey Tangerine Chicken

- Serve with roasted sheet pan vegetables,
- Serve on top of a bed of rice,

Storing the Leftovers
